SSC GD Constable 2024 Results Announced: Check Your Scores and Cut-off Marks Here

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the results for the Constable (GD) Examination 2024, conducted from February 20 to March 7, 2024, and on March 30, 2024, in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. The examination aimed to recruit candidates for a total of 26,146 posts across various paramilitary forces and organizations, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Assam Rifles (AR), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF).

Candidates who took the exam can now view their results on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC has made the Final Answer Keys and Question Papers cum Response Sheets available from July 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM until July 24, 2024, at 6:00 PM. To access these documents, candidates need to log in with their Examination Roll Number and Password via the provided link.

Marks for both qualified and non-qualified candidates are accessible on the Commission’s website, ssc.nic.in, from July 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM until July 24, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Candidates can check their individual marks by logging in with their Username and Password (old Registration Number and Password) and clicking on the Result/Marks tab on the candidate dashboard.

To be shortlisted for the next stage, the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), candidates must meet the following minimum cut-off marks (without bonus marks for NCC certificate holders):

  • UR: 30%
  • OBC/EWS: 25%
  • All other categories (SC, ST, ESM): 20%

The marks scored in the CBT have been normalized. These normalized scores, along with bonus marks for NCC certificate holders, have determined the final merit and cut-off marks for shortlisting candidates for PST/PET. The bonus marks provisionally granted to candidates with NCC certificates are as follows:

  • NCC ‘C’ Certificate: 5% of the maximum marks (8 marks)
  • NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 3% of the maximum marks (4.8 marks)
  • NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 2% of the maximum marks (3.2 marks)

Candidates who have successfully met the cut-off criteria will advance to the PST/PET stage of the examination. This next phase is crucial for determining the final selection of candidates for the Constable (GD) posts in various CAPFs, SSF, and Assam Rifles.

The SSC has made the marks for both qualified and non-qualified candidates available on their website, allowing candidates to check their individual scores. The Commission has also released the Final Answer Keys and Question Papers cum Response Sheets, which can be accessed by logging in with the Examination Roll Number and Password.

With the results announced, candidates can now focus on preparing for the next stage of the examination, the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The SSC will use the normalized scores, along with bonus marks for NCC certificate holders, to determine the final merit and cut-off marks for shortlisting candidates for PST/PET.
