IBPS Clerk Notification 2024: Exam Date, Eligibility, Fee, and Apply Online

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the notification for the recruitment of Clerks in various participating banks across India. The notification is available from July 1 to July 21, 2024, and the application form can be filled between the same dates.

Participating Banks

The recruitment drive will be conducted for 11 participating banks, including Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, and Bank of Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the post of Clerk, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.
• Proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is essential.
• Age Limit: The candidate’s age must not be below 20 and above 28 years as of July 1, 2024. There will be upper age relaxation for 3, 5, and 10 years for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, and Persons With Benchmark Disabilities, respectively.

Exam Date

The exam date for the post of Clerk is announced as follows:

• Prelims: August 24, 25, and 31, 2024
• Mains: October 13, 2024

Application Fee

The application fee for the recruitment of Clerk is ₹850, which includes Intimation Charge. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, and Person with Disability will have to pay only ₹175 as Intimation Charge.
