RBI Grade B Notification 2024: A Comprehensive Guide

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is set to release the detailed notification for the Grade B officer recruitment examination for the 2024 cycle on July 18, 2024. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for RBI Grade B 2024, candidates must meet the age limit, educational qualifications, and other criteria outlined in the notification PDF. The age limit is between 21 and 30 years, and candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalent grade. Syllabus

The RBI Grade B syllabus includes Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, and General Awareness. Quantitative Aptitude assesses numerical ability, Reasoning Ability tests logical and analytical skills, English Language evaluates grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing, and General Awareness covers current affairs, economics, finance, banking, and static GK.

Salary

The starting basic pay of RBI Grade B Salary is ₹55,200/-p.m. in the pay scale of ₹55200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850 (2) – 86550-3300(4)-99750 (16 years). The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Basic Pay will be paid, if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.

Exam Centre

The Reserve Bank of India will conduct the online examination for the General, DEPR, and DSIM Posts at specific allotted centres. Candidates will get to know the exact venue of their exam centre in the admit card released for each stage of the selection process.

Cut Off

The Reserve Bank of India releases the minimum qualifying marks for each stage of the selection process after the declaration of the result. Candidates who obtain the RBI Grade B Cut Off are considered qualified and eligible for the next phase.

How to Apply

Once the RBI Grade B Notification 2024 PDF is released, the apply online link will be activated on RBI’s official portal. Candidates can register on RBI’s official website, www.rbi.org, using a valid mobile number and email address. After registration, eligible candidates will have approximately 20-25 days to submit their application forms, and the application will only be accepted after paying the specified fee mentioned in the RBI Grade B Notification 2024.

Application Fees

The application fee is ₹850 +18% GST for General/OBC candidates and ₹100 +18% GST for ST/SC/PWD/EXS candidates.
