SSC GD Result 2024 Expected in July: Here’s What You Need to Know

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is gearing up to announce the results for the Constable (GD) exam in July 2024. The exam, held for positions in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSF), and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, took place online from February 20th to March 7th and on March 30th, 2024.

A huge number of candidates across India participated in the Computer Based Test (CBT) vying for a total of 26,164 vacancies. The SSC has completed the evaluation of answer sheets, and the results are expected to be out by the last week of July 2024.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Merit List Release: The SSC will release the results in the form of a merit list on their official website: https://ssc.gov.in/. This list will contain the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) based on their performance in the CBT.
• Cut-off Marks: The minimum qualifying marks (cut-off) for different categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwD, etc.) will be announced along with the results. You can find this information on the last page of the result gazette available on the SSC website. While the actual cut-off will be revealed later, experts predict the General category cut-off to be between 112 to 117 out of 160 marks.

How to check your SSC GD Result 2024:

1. Visit the official SSC website: https://ssc.nic.in/
2. On the homepage, look for the “Important Links” section.
3. Click on the “Result” option under “Important Links.”
4. Find and click the link that says “List of Candidates Eligible for PST&PET – Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.”
5. The result will open in a PDF format.
6. Use the search function (usually Ctrl+F) to quickly find your Roll Number in the document.
7. If your Roll Number is on the list, congratulations! You have qualified for the PST/PET stage.
