SSC GD Recruitment 2025: Apply Online from August 27th!

The notification for the SSC GD Constable and Rifleman Recruitment 2025 will be released on August 27, 2024. This means you can start applying online from that day onwards!

• Notification Release: August 27, 2024
• Application Window: August 27, 2024 to September 27, 2024

Who can apply?

• Post Name: Constables (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles
• Educational Qualification: You must have passed your 10th standard (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
• Age Limit: You should be between 18 to 23 years old. Don’t worry, there are relaxations in the upper age limit for SC/ST candidates (3 years) and OBC candidates (5 years).

How to apply?

• Visit the official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in/
• The online application window will be open for four weeks.
• Fill in your details, upload the necessary documents, and pay the application fee.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC Candidates: ₹100
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: No fee

How will you be selected?

The selection process has four stages:

1. Written Exam:

   • Conducted online
   • 60 minutes duration
   • 80 questions, 160 marks
   • Covers General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

   • Tests your physical endurance
   • Tasks vary for male and female candidates and for those from the Ladakh region. For example, male candidates (except Ladakh region) need to complete a 5 km race in 24 minutes.

3. Physical Standard Test (PST):

   • Checks your height, chest (for males), and weight.
   • Your weight should be in proportion to your height.
   • Your vision will also be tested.

4. Medical Test:

   • A thorough medical examination to ensure you are fit for the job.
