How does the selection process work?

The SSC CGL exam has three stages (Tiers). You need to clear Tier 1 and Tier 2 to be considered for a job. Tier 1 is a qualifying exam, meaning you need to pass it to move on to Tier 2. Your final selection depends on your combined performance in both Tier 1 and Tier 2.
