WBJEE Counselling 2024: Registration Open for Engineering Aspirants
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has officially announced that registration for WBJEE counselling 2024 is now open. Students aiming to secure a seat in engineering and other professional courses in West Bengal can now register for the counselling process.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for WBJEE counselling 2024, candidates must have appeared in either the WBJEE 2024 exam or the JEE Main 2024 exam and secured a valid rank. The WBJEE 2024 exam was conducted on April 28, 2024, and the results have already been declared.
How to register?
The entire counselling process will be conducted online. Aspiring candidates can register for WBJEE counselling 2024 through the official website: wbjeeb.nic.in.
Counselling Process:
The WBJEEB will conduct the counselling process in three rounds:
- Allotment Round: Seats will be allotted to candidates based on their ranks and the choices they fill during registration.
- Upgradation Round: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the first round can opt for a higher preference if available in this round.
- Mop-up Round: This round aims to fill any remaining vacant seats after the first two rounds.
Documents Required:
Before registering for counselling, candidates should keep the following documents ready:
- Class 10 admit card or birth certificate (for date of birth verification)
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Domicile certificate (for West Bengal candidates)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD) certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (for Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) rank holders)
Registration Fee:
- Allotment Round: INR 500
- Mop-up Round: INR 200 (for existing registered candidates)
- New Registration (Mop-up Round): INR 1,000 (for candidates with a valid rank in WBJEE 2024 or JEE Main 2024)
