JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Important Exam Guidelines and Dress Code

The second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2024 begins today, April 4th, and continues until April 12th, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the examination. If you’re taking the exam on April 4th, 5th, or 6th, your admit card is ready for download on the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Downloading Your Admit Card

To download your hall ticket (admit card), simply visit the official website and enter your registration number and date of birth.

Exam Timings

JEE Main 2024 session 2 will be conducted in two shifts:

• Morning Shift: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

What to Bring to the Exam Center

Make sure you have the following essential items on exam day:

• JEE Main Admit Card: This is your entry ticket to the exam hall. Ensure it has a recent photograph.
• Valid Photo ID: Carry a government-issued photo ID for verification purposes.
• Other Documents: Refer to your admit card for any additional documents required.

Important Exam Day Guidelines

• Arrive Early: Reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Latecomers may not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• No Prohibited Items: Leave your mobile phones, electronic devices, study materials, and any unauthorized items at home.
• Special Provisions: Diabetic students are permitted to bring sugar tablets, transparent water bottles, and fruits.

Dress Code for JEE Main 2024

To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, please adhere to the following dress code:

• Footwear: Wear comfortable footwear like slippers or sandals with low heels. Avoid closed footwear like shoes.
• Clothing: Opt for light, comfortable clothing with half sleeves, such as a T-shirt. Long sleeves and garments with large buttons are not permitted.
• Religious Attire: If you wear religious attire that differs from the standard dress code, arrive at the exam center early for a thorough security check.

Admit Card Details

• Print your admit card in color on A4 size paper.
• Ensure all details, including your photograph and signature, are clearly visible.
• If your admit card has multiple pages, print all of them.
