IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024: Apply Online for 6128 Vacancies
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is inviting applications for the position of Clerk in various public banks across India. The official notification, released between July 1st and 21st, 2024, details the recruitment process for a whopping 6128 vacancies.
Participating Banks:
This recruitment drive will fill Clerk positions in the following eleven banks:
- Punjab National Bank (PNB)
- Bank of Baroda (BOB)
- Canara Bank (CB)
- Indian Bank (IB)
- Bank of India (BOI)
- Central Bank of India (CBI)
- Indian Overseas Bank (IOB)
- Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB)
- UCO Bank (UCOB)

Important Dates:
- Application Period: July 01 to 21, 2024
- Preliminary Exam: August 24th, 25th & 31st, 2024
- Main Exam: October 13th, 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Proficiency in the official language of the State/UT where they apply is mandatory.
- Age Limit: The age limit is between 20 and 28 years as of July 01, 2024 (born between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2004). Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

- Locate the “Recruitment of Clerk 2024” link and click on it.
- Click on the “Apply Online” option.
- Fill out the application form with your personal and educational details.

- Pay the application fee online.
- Review all the information carefully and submit the application form.
Application Fee:
- General/OBC/EWS candidates: ₹850 (including Intimation Charge)
- SC/ST/PWD candidates: ₹175 (Intimation Charge only)
Selection Process:
The selection process for IBPS Clerk consists of a Preliminary Exam, followed by a Main Exam. Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear for the Main Exam. Final selections will be made based on the candidates’ performance in the Main Exam.
