Over 50 Successful NEET-UG Candidates Appeal to Supreme Court Against Exam Cancellation

New Delhi: Fifty-six students from Gujarat, including the top rank holder, have approached the Supreme Court to prevent the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2024 exam. They are asking for action to be taken only against those who were involved in cheating.

This joint plea might be considered on July 8, when other petitions requesting a re-test will also be heard.

The main petitioner, Siddharth Komla Singla, who already passed the exam held on May 5 this year, filed the plea along with other students from Gujarat.

The petitioners argue that holding the NEET-UG 2024 exam again would be unfair and harsh to honest and hardworking students. They believe it would violate their right to education and go against Article 14 of the Constitution.
