WBJEE Counselling 2024: Notification Released for WBJEE and JEE Rank Holders; Registration Fee Details

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced the notification for the WBJEE counselling 2024. Candidates who have secured a rank in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2024 or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 are eligible to register for the counselling process.

The WBJEE 2024 counselling will be conducted in three rounds: allotment, upgradation, and mop-up round. The entire process, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and payment of the seat acceptance fee, will be done online through a centralised system.

In the allotment round, seats will be assigned to candidates based on their ranks and preferences. During the upgradation round, candidates who have already been allotted seats can opt for a higher preference if available. The mop-up round will be held to fill any remaining vacant seats after the previous rounds are completed.

Registration Fee for WBJEE Counselling 2024

To register for the WBJEE counselling, candidates need to pay a registration fee. The fee for the allotment round is Rs 500. For the mop-up round, candidates need to pay Rs 200 to confirm their participation. New candidates with a valid rank in WBJEE 2024 or JEE(Main) 2024 are required to pay Rs 1,000 for registration.

The official notice states that the counselling portals at wbjeeb.nic.in and wbjeeb.in will provide information on the availability of seats in various institutions, branches, and categories according to the seat matrix provided by the director of technical education, government of West Bengal.
