The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the JEE Main 2024 session 2 on Wednesday. This entrance exam is crucial for students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering courses. Candidates can now visit the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, to download their scorecards. The NTA has released the results for JEE Main paper 1 (BE/BTech) only. Scores for the paper 2 examination are still awaited.

The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exams were held on April 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 12, 2024, across 319 cities in India. A total of 12.57 lakh candidates registered for this session. The first session took place in January-February, and its results were declared on February 12.
How to Check Your JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Scores
- Open the JEE Main exam website: jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Go to the scorecard download page.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Check your result.
Along with the session 2 results, the NTA has also published the all-India rank list and cut-off marks. For candidates who appeared in both sessions, the best score out of the two has been considered for ranking.
About JEE Main
JEE Main, or Joint Entrance Examination Main, is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering (BE/BTech), Architecture (BArch), and Planning (BPlanning). Candidates who qualify in JEE Main are eligible for admission and counselling at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded and private institutions.
JEE Main also serves as the screening test for the JEE Advanced exam, which is the entrance test for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). This year, the JEE Advanced exam will be conducted by IIT Guwahati on May 26. The application window for JEE Advanced will open on April 27 at jeeadv.ac.in.
