4th Anniversary of NEP 2020 Celebrated at Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2024

The Ministry of Education marked the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2024, held at the Manekshaw Centre Auditorium in New Delhi. Department Of Atomic Energy Inaugurates ‘One DAE One Subscription’

On July 29, the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) inaugurated the ‘One DAE One Subscription’ (ODOS) at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. ODOS is a unique initiative that brings together DAE and all its units/subunits (about 60) under one umbrella for access to national and international research papers and scientific journals.

628 Tigers Die In India During The Past Five Years

According to government data, 628 tigers have died in India over the past five years due to natural causes and other reasons, including poaching. During this period, 349 people were killed in tiger attacks, with Maharashtra alone recording 200 deaths.

In 2023, India saw a reduction in average tariffs, which decreased to 17% from 18.1% in 2022. Despite this, India remained one of the top countries in initiating and imposing anti-dumping duties, second only to the US.
