Galaxy Unpacked 2024: Samsung Z Fold 6 May Get New Pastel Colours Including Pink Shade; Check Expected Specs

Following Apple’s lead, Samsung is set to introduce new color options for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the upcoming Unpacked 2024 event. Scheduled for July 10, the event is expected to showcase the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Watch 7, and Buds 3 series.

Recently, images of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in pink surfaced online, sparking a mix of reactions among tech enthusiasts. Despite the buzz, Samsung has yet to officially confirm the new colors for the Fold 6.

Tipster Evan Blass suggests that Samsung is leaning towards pastel shades like yellow and pink for the new model. Last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 was released in a Blue edition.

In other tech news, Apple announced AI-powered Siri with ChatGPT support at WWDC 2024, detailing its features, availability, and supported devices.

Reports indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 might come in black, pink, navy, silver shadow, and white. It is expected to feature an improved design with a better hinge and a creaseless display. Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the new model may also include Galaxy AI capabilities, seven Android updates, and other improvements.

Expected Specifications for Galaxy Z Fold 6

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is anticipated to have a 7.6-inch main Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, along with a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display, also with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, paired with 12 GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The device may come with a 4,400 mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging.

Camera Features

For photography, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to feature a triple camera setup, including a 50 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10 MP telephoto lens. For selfies, it may have a 4 MP under-display camera and a 10 MP cover camera.

Expected Price

According to a report by SmartPrix, the Samsung Z Fold 6 may start at Rs 1,69,999. However, Samsung has not yet confirmed the pricing.
