Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli Announce Retirement from T20Is

Just an hour after India clinched the T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma announced that he had played his last T20I match for India. He joined Virat Kohli, who also declared his retirement from T20Is after the World Cup. Kohli, in top form, played a crucial role in helping the team win the prestigious trophy in the Caribbean. “No better time to say goodbye to this format,” Rohit said to reporters, marking the end of a 13-year wait for India to win a major tournament.
