NEET EXAM: Doctor Pays ₹4 Lakh to Solver to Take Exam for His Son
PRAYAGRAJ: A doctor and his son from the Naini area of Prayagraj are under investigation by Bihar police for their involvement in the recent NEET UG paper leak case. It has been discovered that the doctor paid ₹4 lakh to hire someone to take the exam on behalf of his son, who is a NEET aspirant. Despite ongoing raids by Bihar police, the father and son are still missing. The investigation revealed that Raj Pandey met the solver in Kota, where he was preparing for the NEET exam.
Police found out that Dr. RP Pandey, who lives in ADA Colony and runs a private hospital in Naini, arranged for a solver to take the exam for his son, Raj Pandey. On May 5, a solver was caught taking the exam instead of Raj Pandey at DAV Public School in Malighat, Muzaffarpur district, Bihar.
The solver was identified as Hukma Ram from Rajasthan, a third-year MBBS student at AIIMS-Jodhpur. The police are also looking into the role of the exam center’s management, as Hukma Ram was allowed to take the exam despite a biometric test.
Police officials in Prayagraj stated that Bihar police are actively searching for Raj Pandey and his father. The investigation showed that Raj Pandey met the solver in Kota, where he was preparing for the NEET exam.
