Amul to sponsor USA and South Africa cricket team in T20 World Cup, 2024

Indian milk products manufacturer Amul will sponsor the USA and South Africa teams during the T20 World Cup in June 2024. The cricket boards of both the teams made this announcement.

The United States will make its debut as co-host in the tournament starting June 1. Many matches in the tournament including semifinals and final will be held in West Indies.

Amul has previously been a sponsor of Netherlands, South Africa and Afghanistan. Regarding the sponsorship of South Africa, he said that Amul is associated with the South African team for the 2019 ODI series and 2023 ODI World Cup. We are proud to take this partnership forward.

Last month, Amul launched its brands for the first time in America. These include Amul Gold with 6 per cent milk fat, Amul Shakti with 4.5 per cent milk fat, Amul Taza with 3 per cent milk fat and Amul Slim with 2 per cent milk fat.

Earlier Karnataka Milk Federation, the state-owned dairy cooperative union with the brand name ‘Nandini’, had announced sponsoring the Scotland and Ireland cricket teams in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
