• The passport size photograph should meet the following criteria:

  • The background should be light-colored, preferably white.
  • The candidate’s face should be clearly visible, with no red-eye or reflections for those wearing glasses.
  • Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not allowed.
  • Religious headwear or turban is allowed as long as it does not cover the face.
  • The file size should be between 20 KB to 50 KB.
  • The dimensions should not exceed 200 x 300 pixels.
  • The format of the file must be .jpg or .jpeg.
  • The photograph background should be light or white.

• The candidate’s signature should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • It should be done with a black pen on a white paper.
  • The signature must belong to the applicant and not any other person.

How to fill XAT Application Form 2024

The last date to fill out the XAT application form 2024 is December 10. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the end date. The application process for the XAT exam is online, and candidates need to visit xatonline.in to complete their XAT registration 2024. They should have the necessary documents, fee, and personal information ready.

Steps to fill XAT 2024 registration form

The registration process for XAT 2024 can be divided into three stages. The first stage is to register and create XAT login credentials. The second stage is to fill out the application form, and the final stage is to make the application fee payment.

Step 1 - XAT registration and creating XAT login credentials

1. Visit the official website of XAT - xatonline.in - To register for XAT 2024, enter a few basic details.

• Use the same credentials to re-login.
• In Step 2 of the XAT 2024 application process, enter personal and academic details, work experience details, and fill in XLRI programme details while uploading documents.
• In Step 3, pay the XAT 2024 application fee using a Credit/Debit card or net banking. Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
• The XAT 2024 application process involves visiting the official website of XLRI Jamshedpur (www.xatonline.in) and registering for XAT 2024 to create login credentials. If already registered, click on the “registered login” tab.

Please follow the steps below to register for the XAT 2024 exam:

Step 1: If you are appearing for the XAT exam for the first time, select option 1. If you have already registered at the XAT portal, select option 2 to fill out the registration form.

Step 2: If you are not registered, you will need to create a User ID and Password. To do this, enter your name, email address, mobile number, set a password, select your state and city, and enter the captcha code. Then, enter the security code and click on the “I agree” tab. Proceed by clicking on the “Submit” button. After successful submission, you will see the following details on the screen: XAT ID, name, country, email ID, date of birth, and mobile number.

Step 3: To continue further, click on the “Go to XAT application form” tab. Re-login by entering your XAT ID and Password.

Step 4: Fill out the XAT 2024 application form. Enter your personal details such as title (first name, middle name, and last name), email address and alternate email address, mobile number and alternate mobile number, date of birth (as on August 31), gender, nationality, and marital status.

Contact details:

Candidates need to provide their residential address in Line 1, Line 2, and Line 3. They also need to enter the country name, district, state/union territory, town/city name, and pincode while filling out the application form for XAT 2024.

Current address:

Candidates must provide details about their current address in the designated field during the XAT form filling process.

Emergency contact detail:

In addition to a personal contact number, candidates are required to provide an emergency contact number until the last date of XLRI form submission.

Academic qualifications details:

Candidates need to enter their past academic qualification details, including:

• SSC/10th standard or equivalent board name: Marks obtained, total marks, board name, aggregate marks, month/year of completion
• HSC/12th standard/equivalent/diploma course details: Marks obtained, course type, total marks, aggregate marks
• Bachelor’s degree details
• Master’s degree (if any)

Other professional degree details:

Candidates with a professional degree such as CA/CS/ICWA without a graduation degree must submit the details by the last date of XLRI application for 2024.

Step 5 - Enter work experience details:

Candidates with work experience can provide relevant information in the designated field (not mandatory). The following criteria apply:

• Work experience must be entered by March 31, 2023.
• The candidate must be a full-time employee.
• Part-time job experience will not be considered.
• Candidates must have started their job after graduation.

Step 6 - Enter programme details:

Candidates need to enter the details of the program they wish to pursue. They can choose from the following courses.

• Business Management
• Human Resource Management
• Fellow Programme in Management

To be eligible for the General Management Programme, candidates must have a minimum of 56 months of experience. Once selected for the programme, candidates will need to indicate their preferred campus for each programme.

When filling out the application form for XAT 2024, candidates must choose a test-city preference where they would like to take the entrance exam. Based on previous years, candidates can select up to two cities as their preference.

Candidates will also need to upload relevant documents for verification purposes when filling out the XAT 2024 application form. The passport-size photograph should be recent with a white background, and the face, head, and shoulders must be visible. The photograph should not be older than 6 months.

The candidate’s photographs and signatures must be uploaded in the prescribed size and format in the XAT application form.
