MAHE will conduct the MET 2024 counselling at counseling.manipal.edu. Only those candidates who qualify the MET entrance exam will be eligible for Manipal University counselling. MET Counselling 2024 - Date, Seat Allotment, Registration, Document Verification
The candidates have to complete the Manipal BTech counselling registration, following which, aspirants have to fill in their preferred choices and upload the relevant documents. However, before that, students must submit the MET 2024 counselling fee. Candidates who are allotted seats during Manipal seat allotment 2024 will have to report to the allotted institute to confirm MET 2024 admission. MET 2024 Counselling and Seat Allotment
The following steps will be included in the counselling of MET 2024 and seat allotment:
Step 1: Registration
- Candidates need to register for the MET counselling 2024 on the official website.
- All the required details for registration must be entered.
Step 2: Online Choice Filling/ Modification
- Candidates must log in to the candidate portal using the application number, OTBS Password, and Captcha Code and Selection of Preferred Campus and Courses
Candidates are required to enter a captcha code and select their preferred choices of campus and courses. They have the flexibility to modify their choices of college and branch according to their preference.
Step 3: Documents Upload
In order to participate in the MET counselling and seat allotment for 2024, students must upload the following documents online:
- Transfer Certificate
- MET Hall Ticket
- Aadhaar Card (Candidate’s Original)
- PAN Card of the parents (Original)
- Class 10 Mark Sheet (For Date of Birth Proof)
- Class 12 Mark Sheet
- Conduct Certificate
- Candidate’s 2 Recent Passport Size Photograph
- Authorization Letter (in case a representative is attending on behalf of a candidate)
- JEE Mains 2024 January scorecard / SAT score / any state CET marks
Step 4: Seat Allotment
Seats will be allotted to candidates based on their rank on the merit list. Candidates can check the status of their seat allotment by logging in to the candidate portal. If a student has been allotted a seat but wishes to upgrade, they must report to the allotted institute and select the option to participate in the next round. Students who have not been allotted any seat in previous rounds will automatically be considered for the next round of seat allotment.
Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted Institute
Students must visit the allotted institute to complete the admission process. They need to bring the provisional MET seat allotment letter 2024 along with the necessary documents at the time of admission.
MET Counselling Intra-Institute Sliding
Candidates who have been allocated a seat in any institute can participate in the intra-institute sliding process.
Intra-Institute Sliding
Intra-institute sliding refers to the process of modifying the allotted branches within an institute. Students are required to register again in the institute for branch sliding. It is important to note that intra-institute sliding only allows for modifications in the branch allotted to candidates and does not involve any fresh allotment.
MET 2024 Spot Round Counselling
Manipal Academy of Higher Education will be conducting the spot round counselling for the Manipal Entrance Test. This round is specifically for the seats that remain vacant after the first to seventh counselling rounds. Students who wish to participate in the spot round counselling must register online and report to the designated venue as per the schedule.
MET 2024 Counselling Fees
During the Manipal counselling registration, candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 10,000 as a waitlist deposit. This fee can be paid online as part of the MET counselling 2024 registration process. Once the counselling fees are paid, candidates will be eligible to participate in the online choice filling for Manipal counselling 2024.
Upon receiving the allotment results in any round of MET BTech counselling, candidates must pay the first installment fee within the specified timeline to confirm their seat allotment. The counselling fees paid during registration will be converted into a refundable caution deposit, which will be a part of the course fee. If a candidate is not allotted any seat in any round of counselling, the waitlist deposit will be refunded within one month after the completion of all rounds of the MET counselling process.
