NEET Deleted Syllabus 2024

The National Medical Commission (NMC) released the revised NEET syllabus for 2024 on October 6, 2024. This update aimed to address concerns and provide clarity to students regarding the deleted and added topics in the syllabus. The National Testing Agency (NTA) further clarified these changes through a FAQ PDF published on its official website.

NEET UG Exam Date and Syllabus Modifications

The NEET UG exam is scheduled to take place on May 5, 2024. NMC has implemented modifications to the syllabus, including the removal of certain topics and the introduction of new ones. These adjustments were made in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led various school boards to delete sections from their state board syllabi. However, these deletions have not yet been reversed by the respective boards.

The inconsistency in chapter removals across different boards prompted numerous appeals to the NTA. In response, the NTA released the FAQ PDF to address these concerns and provide necessary clarifications regarding the revised NEET 2024 syllabus.
