What is MAH CET MBA Counselling 2024?
Shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats in the participating colleges through counselling for MAH CET MBA 2024. The participating institutes of MAH CET MBA 2024. The individual cutoffs for MAH CET MBA 2024 will be released by the institutes. These cutoffs will determine the candidates who will be eligible for further rounds of counselling. The Maharashtra common entrance exam, CET, will be conducted as a computer-based test at various test centers in the state. MAH CET MBA CAP 2024: Step wise Process - Application to Selection
Let us look at each stage one by one to have a better understanding.
Stage 1- Registration
Step 1: Candidates need to apply and register for the counselling process. This can be done online by entering personal details such as name, contact information, category, address, and email ID.
Step 2: Candidates must provide their educational qualifications to participate in the Centralised Admission Process (MAH CET MBA CAP 2024).
Stage 2- Verification of Documents
Step 3: Candidates must upload the required documents according to the provided specifications.
Step 4: The State Common Entrance Test Cell will release a provisional merit list of selected candidates. Candidates can submit their grievances if they face any issues. The final merit lists will be displayed on the official website.
Step 5: Candidates can view the category-wise seat matrix for CAP Rounds I and beyond.
Stage 3- MBA MBA CET Seat Allotment and Preference Filling
Step 6: Candidates can choose their preferred courses and institutions before the first round of MAH CET MBA CAP 2024. The option form, once filled and confirmed, will be considered for CAP round allotment without any further changes.
Step 7: The State Common Entrance Test Cell will display the provisional allotment list of CAP rounds, indicating the institute and courses allotted to candidates. Seat allotment will be based on candidates’ scores in MAH CET MBA 2024, Xavier’s Aptitude Test, MAT, GMAT, Common Admission Test, CMAT, ATMA, academic qualifications, and other determining factors.
Stage 4- Appear for CAP i.e. Centralized Admission Process
Step 8: Shortlisted candidates must report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) and accept the offered seats according to the CAP allotment rounds.
Step 9: The State Common Entrance Test Cell will set up around 300 to 340 Facilitation Centres (FCs) in participating institutes of MAH CET MBA 2024 for admission in the year 2025-2026.
Step 10: If candidates are not satisfied with the allotment, they can surrender their seats to participate in the next CAP round in order to secure a better MBA college in Maharashtra State.
Availability of options For CAP 2024
In MAH CET CAP rounds 2024, candidates will have three options in the Common Admission Process of MAH CET MBA 2024:
(a) Freeze: Candidates who accept the offered seats and do not wish to participate in further rounds can freeze their seats. They will not be called for subsequent admission rounds.
(b) Slide/Float: Candidates who accept the offered seat but indicate that they will accept admission to a higher preference if offered. They will be considered in subsequent admission rounds.
MAH CET MBA CAP 2024 Application Fees
Candidates applying for MAH MBA CET 2024 do not need to pay any fees for the CAP rounds. However, candidates applying for the CAP round through other exams like CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA will need to pay CAP fees online according to the provided table.
