KCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the application form for KCET 2024, candidates must check the eligibility criteria. Only those who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for admission through KCET. KCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
  • The candidate must be an Indian National.
  • Students must have passed the 2nd PUC/class 12th/equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Electronics/Computer Science with English as a language subject.
  • No minimum marks are required for KCET 2024 for any category candidates.
KCET B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to KCET B.Pharma courses are as follows:

  • Candidates must have qualified the 2nd PUC or class 12th examination with PCM or PCB subjects.
  • General candidates must have secured 45% aggregate, while reserved categories (Category-I, OBC, and ST/SC) should secure 40% to apply for KCET 2024. Alternatively, candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy should have scored 45% for government-approved courses, while SC/ST categories and Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B) must secure 40%.
KCET B. Sc.(Hons) Agriculture Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for KCET 2024, candidates must pass the 2nd PUC/Class 12th/equivalent exam from a recognized board. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and an optional subject as Biology.

Documents Required for KCET Application Form 2024

Candidates need to upload certain documents while filling out the KCET 2024 application form. Steps to fill KCET registration form

Candidates can check the steps to fill the KCET 2024 application form below. Candidates have to fill the KCET 2024 registration form in two stages. The first stage consists of filling and editing the form while the second stage involves submitting the form.

Step 1 - KCET 2024 Registration: To register for KCET 2024, candidates need to visit the official website of the KCET application form, kea.kar.nic.in 2024, and follow these steps:

  • Click on “New User”
  • Read the instructions and click on “Proceed to apply online”
  • Select nationality
  • Enter the 13-digit Student Number issued by the PUE Department for candidates who appeared for the 12th PUC exam
  • Click on “Submit”

After completing the KCET exam registration, candidates need to provide the following details in the KCET form:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Email address
  • Mobile number
  • Create a password of their choice
  • Re-enter the password for confirmation
  • Answer the security question

KCET Application 2024 Form- Educational Details

Step 4 - Uploading of Scanned Images:

Candidates need to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and left thumb impression, along with their parent’s signature or left thumb impression, following the specifications provided by the authorities.

Step 5 - Submission of Form:

Review all the details submitted and make any necessary corrections by clicking on the ‘Edit Application Form’ button. Accept the declaration and finally submit the KCET application form 2024.

The printout of the KCET 2024 application form must be attested by the School Principal, PU of the institute/school/college studied or currently studying, or any Gazetted Officer. This attested form is required to be produced at the counselling session.

How to retrieve the application number?

If candidates forget their application number, they should check their registered email address. If the application number is still not found, they can contact the KCET authorities at keauthority-ka@nic.in or call the helpline number 080 - 23 460 460.

How to retrieve the password?

To retrieve a forgotten KCET password, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the candidate portal of KCET 2024.
  2. Click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  3. Click on ‘Create New Password’
  4. KCET 2024 User ID, application number, security question, answer, and security code have to be entered.
  5. Click on ‘Submit’
  6. A new password of choice has to be generated by the candidates and confirmed.
  7. Candidates will also be able to check their new password through their registered email address or mobile number.
