What are the additional questions in the BITSAT 2024 exam?
If a candidate answers all 130 questions without skipping any, they will have the option to attempt 12 extra questions if there is still time remaining. These extra questions will be from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and Logical Reasoning, with three questions from each subject. Once the candidate has chosen to attempt the extra questions, they cannot go back to correct any of the earlier answered 130 questions.
BITS Pilani Exam Pattern for B.Tech: BITSAT Marking Scheme
All questions in the BITSAT exam will be multiple-choice objective type. Each question will have four answer choices, with only one being correct. For each correct answer, the candidate will receive 3 marks. However, for each incorrect answer, there will be a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark). No marks will be awarded for questions that are not attempted. While the candidate can choose to skip a question, they cannot select more than one option as the correct answer.
BITSAT Exam Pattern 2024 - Highlights
- There will be no time limit for individual parts of the BITSAT exam. The candidate can go back and change any of their answers among the 130 questions.
- The questions in the BITSAT paper will be designed in a way that a good student will be able to answer all 130 questions within 180 minutes.
